CFW Austin - basis for the call

CFW Poet Agency proposes to develop a poetic display titled "MASTURWORK", which will be presented in Austin, TX, within the Fuse Box Festival, on May 1st, 2008. This presentation will be a collaboration between artists and poets from Austin (TX) and Mexico.

Basis for the present call

CFW Poet Agency invites poets and artists to participate in the poetic display called "MASTURWORK", to be held on May 1st, 2008, at 8 PM, at the MACC (Mexican-American Cultural Center) within the Fuse Box Festival.

Those poets interested in the diffusion of their work as well as artists (visual artists, video makers, dancers, actors, musicians, singers, performers, etc.) that wish to integrate their work to the poetic speech proposed by CFW Poet Agency can participate in this call.

About the subject of the call

Under the title of "MASTURWORK", CFW Poet Agency proposes the poets and artists of different specialties to contribute with own contents around the title of the presentation. The call is bilingual (English and/or Spanish).

Those poets and artists who wish to participate must write to CFW.Poet.Agency@gmail.com and send the following information:

• creative resume
• one or more personal photographs
• a sample of their work (or a link to where it can be consulted)

This information must be sent to the e-mail above before the March 28th, 2008.

CFW Poet Agency will contact the applicants to deepen on the characteristics of the presentation proposed, as well as to decide a personal interview with them.
